Hello, my name is Hope.
This page gives me an opportunity to tell you a little bit of who I am.

I am a teacher, Spiritual teacher and Spiritual speaker. I am and always have been a student of ancient spiritual teachings. A good teacher knows when to be Mount Everest but also knows when to be the Valley. I am Mount Everest when I teach by bringing in ancient wisdom and holy energy into groups and private teachings. I am the Valley when I go to my teacher, willing and able to receive my own personal insights.
I am an ordained Interfaith Minister. My undergraduate degree was in chemical dependency counseling. I worked as a family counselor at a treatment center until I was guided to create The Friendship House, a place of teaching and gathering of community. The growth and development of that led to the Hope Interfaith Center. HIC is a center for spiritual enlightenment moving towards Self-Realization and moving into the space of ONENESS.

I was born and raised in Mankato, Minnesota. I am happily married and have four children. (see their photo!) My foundation is that of a Roman Catholic, but now I identify myself as a Universal Spiritualist. My life has been guided ever since I was 11 years of age. I received my first vision of an angel at this young age, and, since that first visitation, I have been able to hear Spirit speak and see what Spirit presents. One day I received a message from my guides, or perhaps my inner core, to begin to use the name Hope, which stands for "Help Open Planetary Eyes". This is my mission on earth - to help open the eyes of everyone who comes to seek guidance, to help all know that we have come to this planet to become God, to come into our full Self-Realization of walking the walk of our true identity, our God-Self!

I have made many significant spiritual pilgrimages - from the ancient pyramids in Mexico to the Great Pyramid in Giza, Egypt; from a little town in Germany to be in Darshan with the Divine Mother Meera to a Buddhist monastery in Colorado to study and learn about internal silence called The Golden Path; from Lourdes and Paris in France to the chapels London; from the hills and valleys of New Mexico and Sedona to the hills and valleys of Switzerland and Holland; from Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City to the gates of Jerusalem in Israel; and most recently to the be in the wonders in the holy land of Turkey! In these many spaces I have had the honor to teach people from around the world.

In all of this traveling what I have learned is that there is no place like home. It is your own heart that is the true temple of holiness, which waits quietly for your return. The Presence knows we all will return to purity and to grace. The graciousness of God will take you gently in and cover you with Love.
