During the year of 2012 our 3rd Sundays are going to be dedicated ONENESS blessing. Everyone who comes will receive a ONENESS blessing by a ONENESS blesser. ONENESS blessing.
What is a ONENESS Blessing or Deeksha? The ONENESS Blessing is a direct transfer of intelligent sacred energy which allows the heart to open, relationships to heal, quiets the chatter of the mind, open doors to higher states of awareness and initiates a process of Awakening into ONENESS where there is no longer a sense of separateness. All that remains is the awareness of reality as it is the joy of being fully present in the moment. Whatever spiritual path of spiritual path you are on will be supported. This gift is for all of us, no matter our spiritual awarenesses.
Together, we are raising the level of consciousness globally. We begin with ourselves and through Deeksha, the ripple effect goes out to all of mankind. There is no dogma associated with this path. At our beautiful temple now we can offer the gifts of this blessing.
Currently we have “ONENESS Blessers” within our community who have attended an intense weekend to become initiated as ONENESS Blessers. I know because I attended the weekend with them! The goal of the ONENESS movement is to help liberate mankind through the gift of the transference of GRACE, bringing us as a whole into a new way of life.
We are A Golden Age for Humanity. After my first ONENESS blessing from Chris Emmanuel I was hooked… I began to pursue how to get initiated as a ONENESS blesser and found two lovely people to come to our temple or center to do an initiation weekend.
Experience practitioners give Deeksha- the transmission of divine intelligent energy –by placing their hands on a recipient’s head for a minute or so. The effects are cumulative, and can enhance physical healing, generate greater intimacy in relationships, promote material well-being, and , most significantly, may result in a spontaneous and effortless “awakening in to oneness.”

The new moon is the birthing cycle of the moon's various phases. The new moon phase is an OPTIMAL time for planning and seeding your intentions that you want to grow. The power of new frequencies is upon us and so the change to monthly New Moon gatherings is very important. Seedlings need a period of gestation before they break through the soil and reach for the sunlight this is the reason why we meet in the evenings. The dark side of the moon, with its mysterious unseen forces offers a nurturing environment where our intentions can establish roots before their miraculous manifestations begins to sprout and reach out to the stars.
Exciting speakers will come to HIC during the New Moons to plant new ideas and give you new information, which will help us on our journey into 2012. Come and watch the miraculous story of how angels saved my life in an accident with the light rail train in Minneapolis. Angels Among Us, a program which airs on the CMT channel, interviewed me and ran my story last September. We will be watching the show and discussing what happened the day of the accident. Life after death is an exciting topic to talk and hear about, and many of us have had similar experiences of the afterlife whether it be visions, lights, voices or Near Death Experiences. I encourage all to come who have had occurrences with the other side so we can talk openly about our experiences. Come, listen and watch and share a night of surviving “death” and beyond!

Vibrational healing and vibration balance is coming to the forefront of many teachings, whether they are in the realm of spiritual, health or general well-being!
You are invited to come Monday evenings for half an hour of toning with Jo and Ruth Ann. You need not have any previous experience – every sound we make is a tone! However, intentional use of our vocal chords can bring us into amazing spaces of wholeness. As a group, it is even more powerful! Come every week or come when you can!

Join this group for some Drumming and Qigong! Lois Weber will be leaving town for the winter months. While she is away, leadership for the Wellness Circle will come from Marcie Douglass, who will be coordinating, teaching and leading. Marcie has taken a number of classes from Master Lin and studied Spring Forest Qigong for a number of years. Marcie will have others within the group to help with these teachings.

A Men’s group, with the purpose of increasing Spiritual Awareness, began this past November. Various methods — including music, visualizations, meditation, discussion, literature and others — will be used as determined by the group. Bob Dickhudt, a long time friend of Hope’s, leads this group.
Bob has a background in music (guitar and voice) and is devoted to his spiritual growth and awareness, having participated in numerous personal retreats.

On Monday, October 24, by unanimous decision of the City Council, Mankato became the first 'Fair Trade Town' in Minnesota. This is a goal towards which MAFTTI has been working since June 2009.
MAFTTI grew out the concern of people in a number of Mankato churches to promote the economic justice agenda of which Fair Trade is a potent and practical symbol. Great thanks are therefore due to these churches, including yours. Without them, Mankato would not be a Fair Trade Town.
Please look out for news of MAFTTI's continuing work in 2012, keep buying Fair Trade products - and think about joining in the action.

January 2012 finds us beginning the 3rd and final year of the monthly teaching CDs. Late in 2009 I was told to produce these for three years, starting in 2010 and finishing in 2012. Why are we here on this planet? Based on my experience, it is the Transcendence of Duality by remembering who we are. The 6th Leadership Class will be graduating on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hope Interfaith Center. This initiation into becoming leaders in 2012 is very important! We have the opportunity to witness 6 women say “yes!” to becoming vessels for the Light! Come together to congratulate them and support them as they begin their journey as ordained Interfaith Ministers. The alumni leadership graduates are especially asked to join us.
The 2012 Graduates are: Jill Marie Anderson Augustin, Kimberly Kae Stanton Cummings, Klea Linn Brewton-Fitzgerald, Jill Marie Grace, Mary Ellen Haas and Marcia Kay Ballard Nermoe.

The feast day of the Virgin of Guadalupe has just passed. On December 12, 2011, the aspects of the Divine Feminine created a beautiful star-shaped portal to allow new energies to come forth. Next year the Virgin of Guadalupe’s feast day will be on 12-12-12. The events destined to take place on that day will be another influx of LIGHT which will be our final preparation for December 21, 2012.
Our journey to Belize, taking place from December 8-15, 2012, was planned with the intention that we would be in that country during this amazing time! Let us all start preparing for these beautiful new energies to take seed within us. Listen to the signs and hear the future as it beckons your attention. Let your heart be the one to vote with purpose and pure consciousness about all of your choices.

Many of you received the letter that was emailed last autumn, inviting you to participate in the “500 Club”. I had been given an idea by Spirit – a simple idea – that if 500 people pledged $5.00 a month for one year HIC would be able to raise $30,000 which would enable us to keep our doors open and our mission going.
I am very happy and very grateful
to report to you that we have received
a little over $10,000 now!
Friends, we are one-third of the way there!
As you well know, all non-profits are asking for support and money. There are many places where we can give our energy. Yet I want you to know why a simple, single donation of $60.00 to HIC could make all the difference in the world to this mission:
We are different than most non-profits because we help people when they are dealing with spiritual dilemmas and heartaches. I have always been encouraged to stretch my heart to embrace more of this world. We are called now to stand beside the wounded, and to help and acknowledge the needs of the many. What the world needs more of is love, generosity, mercy, and openness. We are meant to be brothers and sisters, a family of nations.
I have built the Hope Interfaith Center up from the ground floor, with the help of many, many dedicated supporters and co-journers.
