Classes & Events

Dear Beloved Community,

As the holiday season gathers momentum with its bustle, bright lights, and endless to-do lists, we invite you to pause. Take a gentle step out of the rush and into a moment of stillness with us.On December 21st, the longest night of the year, we will gather to honor the Winter Solstice a sacred turning of the wheel and to celebrate both the Great Mother and the nurturing darkness that brings forth balance, rest, and eventual rebirth.Join the Hope Interfaith Center for a sacred winter solstice service focused on goddess spirituality, poetry, and rooting into the quiet of the longest night. Mother and daughter Megan Welti and Alorah Hill hold space for the archetypal dark winter mother, to offer reprieve from the chaotic hustle and bustle of various holiday plans. During this evening service, honor the desire to be still and feel the comforting hum of the world gently bring you back to your body. On this night, the focus is not on the birth of the bright sun god, but on the Great Mother and the beautiful darkness that brings balance to the wheel of the year. You are warmly invited to bring:

Your open heart

A favorite cozy shawl or wrap

A candle or token that symbolizes renewal for you

Come & Join Us for an Unforgettable Evening!

Come be part of an inspiring night celebrating the incredible journey of Patty Prewitt — a writer, teacher, performer, and advocate whose story embodies courage, compassion, and hope, grit, perseverance, and the unbreakable power of the human spirit. For nearly 40 years behind bars, Patty wrote letters that moved hearts and opened minds. Through her work with Prison Performing Arts (PPA) and her extraordinary collection of letters (now published by Some People Press), she became a mentor and a light for so many.Convicted in 1984 after a deeply flawed investigation, Patty never stopped fighting for justice — or for others. In 2024, her unwavering resilience was recognized when Governor Mike Parson commuted her sentence. Now free, Patty’s voice continues to inspire. Her letters — at once funny, raw, and profoundly human — remind us of the power of art, truth, and the unbreakable human spirit.

Don’t miss this chance to hear Patty share her story "live through zoom" and reflect on a life transformed through hope, creativity, and community.

If you want to learn more about grit, perseverance, and resilience and hope in the face of unimaginable odds, this is an evening you won’t want to miss

“Her words remind us that even in the darkest places, humanity endures.

Just Sound ~ Vibrational Alchemy~

How Do Sound Baths Work?
The first time I heard the term sound bath about 15 years ago, I pictured soaking in a tub with music playing. 😂 Nope! no water involved (even though I do love a good bath!) This practice is not a new modality. It is a very ancient practice. One to assist with connecting us deeper within. Sound baths are generally laying down on a yoga mat on your back. But I have done many different variations of sound baths with. SUP yoga on a lake, yin yoga immersions, interactive children sessions, and private sessions. There really isn’t any right or wrong way on how to attend a sound bath. It’s really whatever feels right for you.💓
A sound bath surrounds you in gentle, healing vibrations created by crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, Koshi chimes, and guided meditation.
These sounds don’t just relax, they bring you into a deep state of ultimate bliss.
They activate your parasympathetic nervous system (the one that tells your body it’s safe to rest, breathe, and heal). As the vibrations wash over you like a ray of sunshine ☀️ they help release feel-good chemicals, reduce pain signals, and guide you back into balance, peace, and presence.
This is the essence of ✨Vibrational Alchemy ✨ using sacred sound to remember who you truly are: Divine, whole, and worthy of love. 💫
