Cruise to Cuba – November 13-20, 2016

Dear HIC Friends,

As many of you know that I will be closing down on international trips abroad. I will only be doing two more trips! So the announcement came out that Cuba was the next trip that Spirit has asked me to do. We are going to put some lovely energy into the Atlantic Ocean as we circumnavigate Cuba! And we will be doing Transmission Meditation while on the Ocean as we connect with the energy of the sinking of Atlantis! I thought our trip would take place in December but as I have worked with Amber Pietan’s Travel Agency on this groundbreaking round trip voyage from Miami to Cuba we found ourselves finding that October was going to be the better month. The date we will be taking off for Cuba is November 13th and returning on the 20th.

And here is the interesting news! Our ships name is called “The Adonia” which means Teacher! This is a modern 704 passenger ship which is a small adventure in itself, you will have Cuban-inspired meals that include a variety of vegetarian options. There’s a pool, a gym, a game deck, even a full size library. And, of course, there’s the infinite mystery of the wide, wide sea around you! The moment you step on board your ship, you will have access to Cuban movies, Cuban music, Cuban cuisine-they’ll all be part of your out bound voyage, as you learn about the remarkable people you’re going to meet when we get off the ship in Cuba.

As your ship makes its way to Cuba, you’ll prepare for your on-ground experiences with a variety of opportunities on ship! You will explore Cuba cuisine out the window of our beautiful ship, immerse yourself in Cuba’s cinematic history. You can learn more about Fathom’s vision (the name of our cruise line) and engage in small group discussions on encouraging independent economic activity, using art to create a vital bridge, and how to unleash the greatness in everyone. Plus as a group we will participate in opportunities to bring out our crystals and with intention place them in the waters with light and love!

Plus have tons of free time to sit on the deck and let the beauty of the sea come into your crystalline body!

The Adonia will visit three historic points on your journey: Havana, the country’s capital, the historic towns of Cienfuegos/Trinidad, and Cuba’s second largest city, Santiago de Cuba. Your time on the island is intended to be a true cultural immersion experience-part learning, part sharing, and lots of pure enjoyment as you get to know the Cuban people face to face. You and your Fathom travelers will have the rare chance to learn more about the lives and aspirations of the Cuban people. Your own itinerary might include a walking tour of Havana’s old city, a visit to an organic farm, an English workshop with students at a local primary school or a chance to interact with local artists and musicians in their own environment.

Your base price of your trip includes on-board programs, on ground activities and transportation, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner on board and a comfortable stateroom. The price is based on two people sharing a stateroom. A deposit per person is required to secure your spot, and then one other payment is due 90 days prior to the trip for the balance of your fare. A $600.00 deposit will hold your spot for this most exciting trip. The price of the cruise does not include your airfare. I am currently working on this with the travel agency. She believes that the cost to fly to Florida would be around 500,00 dollars. If you have frequent flyer miles, you can do your own plans to meet us down in Miami or Amber will be happy to arrange our flights down to Miami for those who want to travel in a group.

The balcony cabins are $3050 per person + taxes, based on double occupancy
Ocean view cabins are $2370 per person + taxes, based on double occupancy

I just wanted to send as much information out as I have for right now! I have checked many options and as of right now this looks the best! So mark your calendars for our March gathering on Saturday, March 12th at 8:00 a.m. Amber Pietan will be there to answer any of your questions.
We will be asking for sign up and deposit by May 1st, 2016…..

Anchor away my friends, Let us Anchor away!!!!!!!!! (This will be the first Hope Interfaith Center Cruise)
